What We Do

Our Goal

Our heart is to help children become all God has created them to be by equipping them with the practical skills they need for life and giving them opportunities to learn of His love. Our main avenue for impacting children is by helping to develop better schools where they can learn to read, solve problems, and explore creativity to make their own impact in the world.

Our Model

We employ four key techniques as we walk alongside our partner schools to help them create positive learning environments for their children.

  1. Modeling the way of Jesus

  2. Equipping school leaders and teachers with new skills

  3. Encouraging them through one-on-one mentoring

  4. Creating opportunities to collaborate with others

Our Programs

Discipleship

We integrate Bible studies and Christ-centered discipleship into each day. This includes regular times of studying the Bible with our staff, volunteers, school leaders and teachers, and students, as well as modeling the ways of Jesus through our hospitality, interactions, and prayer.

Skills Training

We train and mentor school leaders and teachers to create effective learning environments. We cover topics in leadership development, project management, interactive learning environments, literacy, and more.

Resources

We provide access to books, educational resources, and technology to enhance learning in our Library and the community schools.

Library

We use our Library to model best practices for our community schools during their weekly visits, and also open up our collection of more than 10,000 books for the entire community to enjoy. During community days, we prioritize helping children learn about God’s love, their unique gifts, and how to be responsible members of the community.

Sustainability

By partnering with local schools, we are investing in local solutions that will last long beyond us.  We intentionally use low-cost solutions that can be replicated within the community.  As schools create standards for quality education, school leaders can encourage greater investment from parents and partners to sustain their work, thereby increasing the number of children they can impact.

As children gain the foundational skills of reading, problem solving, and using creativity, they are better equipped for a future where they can invest in their communities.

As our partner schools achieve a standard of sustainable quality education, they are becoming catalysts of change for their community - spreading their impact beyond the children to parents, community members, social groups, and more.

Our model creates a ripple effect of impact.
